I chose to add project one to my ePortfolio as non-pharmaceutical interventions are something that I am passionate about. While I am not against medical intervention, I believe that medication is over-prescribed in many instances, and non-pharmaceutical options should be discussed and pursued as well. This project allowed me to research two different non-pharmaceutical methods which are showing promising results in school aged children. This artifact applies to the programmatic theme of career connections as it shows how I might utilize the information that I have learned and apply it to a real-world clinic setting. It also shows how I would disseminate the information to my professional colleagues.

I chose to add project one to my ePortfolio as this activity demonstrates my ability to understand how opposite traits in team members affect the working environment. Having an understanding of how traits affect the production and communication of employees is vital to ensure effective management. This artifact relates to the programmatic theme of career connections as it demonstrates my ability to navigate the different traits among team members, leading to effective communication and productivity within the department.
